What a lovely location, right by great sandy beaches and within 30 mins drive of the Snowdonia mountains. Great for visiting both, as well as Portmeirion or Coed y Brenin forest. The cottages are on a working farm, so there's the chance to see sheep and cows and dogs at work! The owners were very welcoming and on hand if needed, but equally left us to our own devices when we didn't need anything. They had gone to a lot of effort to provide the little extras that make a stay even better - things like welcoming Welsh cakes, milk and tea/coffee, plenty of towels, dishwasher tablets, a hair dryer. There were also washing machines on site, so it was handy to be able to do a wash mid-week. The cottage was a decent size, with plenty of space for the 4 of us. It was well furnished, with plenty of cutlery, crockery and utensils. There was a nice lawn area to sit in the sun, with deck chairs to hand, as well as barbecues to use or boogie boards to borrow. The owner also allowed us to lock our bikes up in their shed, which was appreciated given it sometimes rains in Wales!
Would recommend this hotel.

We had a warm welcome by the friendly host who provided us with a delicious homemade cake upon arrival. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen. The location was quiet and private, making it a great base for exploring nearby villages and a short drive to the beach and restaurants. We also enjoyed the added bonus of the play barn and facilities. we had a delightful stay and would recommend it.
The only minor drawback was that the room we stayed in was upstairs, which might be inconvenient for those with mobility issues. Additionally, the range of cooking equipment could be improved, although having a freezer was a plus.
